The Students Offering Support is a program by Lafayette College for computer support. Its purpose is to help students and faculty troubleshoot any computer problems they may have, while also giving the students who work for SOS practical work experience.
My position and responsibilities:
For my freshman year I worked as part of the SOS team as an Associate. I worked about ten hours a week during the school semester at the main desk where students and faculty would either call or stop by with computer related problems. I enjoyed this job because I was able to learn a lot about computer troubleshooting and I also met many more students at Lafayette as a result of helping them.
